Florida Lifestyle Home Inspections Inc. makes a commitment to providing the knowledge and understanding of a home's condition to our clients. Our inspectors are trained and certified to perform an inspection that gives a full overview of a home.

Comprehensive Home inspection

A home inspection will provide insight on the integrity of a property, bringing to light any issues that are not seen on a simple walk-through or visit. The property features inspected in this will be:

  • Heating system

  • Central air conditioning system

  • Interior plumbing and electrical systems

  • Roof

  • Attic, including visible insulation

  • Walls

  • Ceilings

  • Floors

  • Windows and doors

  • Foundation

  • Basement

  • Structural components

Wind Mitigation

A wind mitigation will cover how much wind protection a home has to ensure it's stability in the presence of a hurricane. This is required by home owners insurance. This inspection can also be used to lower insurance premiums for homeowners. The features inspected for this inspection will be:

  • Gable-end bracing,

  • Roof geometry & design

  • Roof to wall connections (i.e. clips, straps, etc.)

  • Any special impact resistant glass

  • Reinforced garage doors

  • Hurricane shutters

  • Secondary water resistance barrier

4-Point Inspection

A 4-point inspection assesses the condition of a home's four major systems. This is typically a prerequisite when acquiring a new homeowners insurance policy or renewing an existing policy.  A 4-point inspection will include an assessment of the following systems:

  • Roof

  • Electrical System

  • HVAC System

  • Plumbing System

This inspection's purpose is to determine the components, general condition, and age of these systems.

Pre-Listing Home Inspection

A pre-listing home inspection essentially is a comprehensive inspection, except with the purpose of ensuring a seller can address any issues in a home prior to listing. This inspection can also assist the seller by coming to a more accurate listing price, help the home sell in quicker time, reduce any issues in negotiations, eliminate conditional offers, and raise the chances of a buyer meeting the asking price.

New Construction Home Inspection

A new construction home inspection is essentially a comprehensive inspection that occurs before the final walk-through. The purpose of this inspection will be to determine if the home's construction is solid and free from defects that could have been overseen during the building process. This inspection will offer peace of mind in buying a new home to not only save you money, but to protect your investment.

Roof Inspection Certification

A roof certification inspection is an inspection of a home's roof system for insurance purposes. This will inform insurance agencies about the home's roof condition and life expectancy.
